Following their separation with Electronic Arts (EA), the soccer organization committed to continuing game development independently from the gaming publisher. Now, the inaugural FIFA game developed after EA is available.
Now, you can download the mobile version of the arcade-style game FIFA Rivals by Mythical Games from both the App Store and Google Play. Initially launched in a trial run, it’s now open to everyone with compatible mobile devices.
As a passionate gamer, I’d say FIFA Rivals offers a thrilling blend of arcade-style action with strategic team management. You step into the role of a manager, engaging in PvP battles while simultaneously constructing your dream squad. The game also features a “Super Mode,” which introduces special boosts and abilities to give you an edge on the field.
In addition to the competitive gameplay of FIFA Rivals, there’s the Mythical Marketplace, an online trading hub powered by blockchain technology. This lets players buy, sell, and swap their in-game items among themselves.
Mythical Games previously released NFL Rivals in 2024.
In terms of Electronic Arts’ soccer games, the company has decided to change the name of the series to EA Sports Football Club. The upcoming installment, EA Sports Football Club 26, is set for release later this year, following the relatively poor financial success of EA Sports Football Club 25.
