First major Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 expansion in details. DLC and update 1.3 launch month revealed

Before Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s launch in January, Warhorse Studios unveiled a development roadmap, revealing plans for the game’s future. The upcoming Czech title is set to feature three paid DLC expansions, with the first one, Brushes With Death, having been recently given more specific details by the developers (as reported by PCGamesN).

Details of the first DLC

The content for the downloadable expansion, “Brushes With Death”, can be accessed right from the start of the game without having to progress through certain storyline milestones. In this captivating tale, you’ll encounter the mysterious artist, Master Voyta, and aid him in his quest to discover the inspiration needed to craft a truly extraordinary masterpiece that will solidify his reputation as one of the greatest artists of his time.

As a gaming enthusiast diving into the world of KCD 2, I can’t help but feel a thrill about the expansion’s plot summary. With the tantalizing array of quests that await me, I am bracing myself for a rollercoaster ride of intrigue and excitement!

Apart from the novel duties, Voyta introduces a unique feature called shield painting. This allows Hal to customize his gear with various color schemes, designs, borders, and emblems, all selectable by the player. You can unlock these customization options by progressing through the main narrative, discovering certain areas, or conversing with specific characters.

As a gamer, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the release of “Brushes With Death” DLC. Contrary to what was initially suggested in the roadmap, Warhorse Studios has given us a more precise timeline. It seems we’ll be able to get our hands on it somewhere between mid-May and the end of May. Can’t wait!

In addition to the upcoming update, version 1.3, players will encounter thrilling new additions such as a mini-game featuring horse archery and horse racing, along with a fresh quest line. This exciting expansion is also expected to introduce adjustments to the game’s balance, making enemies in the second region more challenging.

The sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance,” titled simply as “Kingdom Come 2,” is now accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Lately, this game has introduced a demanding mode that significantly increases the difficulty level and at times can be mercilessly tough.
