
One of the biggest moments at The Game Awards 2025 was the reveal of the first footage and actors from the upcoming stage play based on Street Fighter.
Geoff Keighley’s gaming event featured more than just awards and new game reveals. We also got a first look at a trailer for the movie based on the well-known fighting game series, which you can check out below.
The entire cast of the movie, who will be playing the famous characters, was brought on stage. While fans have known who’s playing Ryu and his friends for some time, they seem excited about this new adaptation. Despite some concerns that the movie, SF, might not be much better than other video game movies, the cast’s energy is definitely appreciated.
The movie Street Fighter is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2026, according to an actor who mentioned it at The Game Awards 2025.
