Square Enix is releasing physical versions of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX for the Nintendo Switch on December 9th.
Final Fantasy VII and VIII will be released together as a twin pack, and Final Fantasy IX will be sold separately. The twin pack has been available in Asia and Europe for some time, while Final Fantasy IX was previously only available physically in Asia until now. You can see the North American box art for both releases below.

Just letting you know, I found out you can pre-order the Final Fantasy VII and VIII Twin Pack right here, and Final Fantasy IX is available for pre-order over here. Both physical copies cost $39.99, which seems like a pretty good deal to me!
You can now play Final Fantasy IX on PlayStation 4 (and PlayStation 5), Xbox One (and Xbox Series X|S), Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Steam, and PC via the Xbox Store. If you’re new to the game or haven’t played it in a while, check out my article detailing all the available versions. Remastered versions of Final Fantasy VII and VIII are also available on all these platforms.
