Square Enix has disclosed the system requirements for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PC, offering three default settings tailored to your hardware configuration. Yet, Square Enix hasn’t officially announced whether the game will be compatible with the Steam Deck as of now.

The game’s requirements are generally acceptable, but it requires a whopping 155GB of storage, which is quite a big chunk. There are three preset modes: Minimal, Suggested, and Maximum. In the minimal mode, the game operates at 30 frames per second in 1080p resolution, whereas the suggested and maximum settings allow for a smoother 60fps at both 1080p and 2160p resolutions respectively.

On a suitable setup, the PC edition could reach 120 frames per second. It boasts enhanced lighting effects and more detailed environmental textures. Compatible control options include the PS5’s DualSense controller, as well as keyboard and mouse control.

In the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, there are three pre-set graphic modes available, along with an option to adjust settings personally. These pre-sets have been fine-tuned to ensure optimal gameplay experience based on your hardware configuration.
