Paul had intended to pop the question to Iris at the summit of this lofty structure, but their plans were repeatedly thwarted. Their reservation seemed to have gone missing, a mischievous child was creating a ruckus by pilfering items and flinging them off the tower’s edge, and the sheer altitude left Iris feeling nauseated.
