Fifth Season Doubles Down on Film, Promoting Dan Guando and Kelly Todd to Executive Vice Presidents (EXCLUSIVE)

The movie-making establishment, Fifth Season (formerly Endeavor Content), has strengthened its film production division by making significant staff promotions.

Dan Guando and Kelly Todd have been promoted to Executive Vice Presidents. Specifically, Dan is now in charge of Creative Production, while Kelly heads Physical Production. Both will now report directly to Christopher Slager, who has been appointed President of the Film division.

Fifth Season is preparing to launch its most daring lineup yet, following successful collaborations with films such as “The Lost Daughter” and “Cha Cha Real Smooth.” Upcoming productions include: “Animals,” directed by Ben Affleck; “Friendship,” written and directed by Andrew DeYoung and starring Paul Rudd, Tim Robinson, and Kate Mara; “Nonnas,” with Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, and Linda Cardellini under the direction of Stephen Chbosky; “Anniversary” featuring Diane Lane and Dylan O’Brien directed by Jan Komasa; and “The Beast,” starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman directed by Renny Harlin.

Slager from EbMaster stated that Dan and Kelly significantly contributed to making Fifth Season the exceptional creative partner it is now. They have consistently put in hard work, safeguarding and boosting the ideas of our elite filmmakers during development and production phases. Despite the changes and obstacles within the industry, they’ve managed to achieve success.

Since its 2017 spin-off from Endeavor, Guando has been a valuable member of the company, forging strong ties with prominent film producers and directors. He’s played a key role in attracting talent such as Affleck, DeYoung, and Chbosky to our team. Prior to this, Guando honed his skills at firms like Bloom and TWC, contributing to films such as “The Imitation Game,” “Fruitvale Station,” “Snowpiercer,” “Blue Valentine,” and “Lion.

Todd began working with Fifth Season in 2019, taking charge of production for nearly 30 films such as “Lost Daughter” and “Ambulance,” directed by Michael Bay. This was during the COVID-19 lockdown and a period of double labor strikes in Hollywood. Prior to this, she had roles at Insurrection Media and 20th Century, and she has also produced independent projects like “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and “Dumplin.
