FEDERATION APPOINTMENT
As a seasoned movie critic with a penchant for European productions, I must say that the appointment of Beth Warin at Federation Stories U.K. is nothing short of exhilarating! With her background at the BBC and her involvement in hit series like “Lockerbie” and “The Night Manager” Season 2, she brings a wealth of experience to the table.
In a recent development, Federation Stories U.K. has chosen Beth Warin to take on the role of their new head of development. Warin will collaborate with Polly Williams, the current managing director, and oversee the company’s lineup of international dramatic productions.
Warin comes over from the BBC, where she functioned as a Drama Commissioning Executive, collaborating editorially with commissioning editors Jo McClellan and Gaynor Holmes on various projects such as “Lockerbie” and “The Night Manager” Season 2.
Recent productions by Federation Stories feature ‘I, Jack Wright,’ a heartfelt British family drama written by Chris Lang and performed by John Simm. Additionally, Federation Stories is working on various projects in collaboration with broadcasting companies from the UK, USA, and Europe.
Established three years ago, Federations Stories is the United Kingdom branch of the European production studio Federation Studios. This U.K. division was launched by two former executives from eOne, Arielle Gottlieb and Williams. Recently, Arielle Gottlieb left the company as part of a restructuring process that took place in February.
As a devotee, I’m affiliated with Federation Studios, a global powerhouse based in France that stretches its creative wings from cities like Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Rome, and Berlin. This esteemed organization has made a name for itself with critically acclaimed series such as “The Bureau” and “In Treatment.
