2025 marks the much-anticipated culmination of Dick Wolf’s shows airing on CBS: the final installments for FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted according to the TV schedule. The original series, FBI, will air its last episode of the spring season before resuming in the fall due to a massive renewal in 2024. In contrast, the finales for spinoffs FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted will serve as their final episodes ever, following cancellations back in March.
The fact that all three shows might not have blockbuster finales this season doesn’t rule out the possibility. In fact, the stars of FBI are building anticipation for their “scary” exit in spring, International is ramping up the tension in its second-to-last episode, and the showrunner of Most Wanted is promising resolution for the characters. Therefore, let’s tune in together to watch all three finales starting on May 20 at 8 p.m. ET with FBI, followed by International at 9 p.m. ET, and wrapping up with Most Wanted at 10 p.m. ET.
Keep in mind that new entries will be added in reverse chronological order (most recent first) while the show is airing live. Once the broadcast has ended, the sequence will switch to oldest first.
What To Expect
The FBI begins its night with the season finale of Season 7, titled “A Fresh Start.” This episode is especially significant for characters Jubal and Isobel. According to CBS’s episode summary, it offers a sneak peek into some major events for these two characters.
Following Jubal’s narrow escape from a strategically planned attack on a clandestine FBI location, the group unearths evidence of an anti-government faction embedded within the FBI. Suspicious of potential traitors, the team is forced to operate covertly to expose the enemies undermining the integrity of the New York branch office.
In the final episode of “FBI: International” (Season 4), the character, Wes Mitchell, is transported from his regular hangouts in Budapest and other European cities, to the distant lands of Japan. According to CBS, this is what they call the last episode titled “Gaijin”.
In the second half of the two-part series finale, The Fly Squad finds themselves hot on the heels of a notorious serial killer, leading them, along with Mitchell, to Japan as they race against time to halt this global murdering rampage.
Delving into the Season 6/series finale of FBI: Most Wanted, titled “The Circle Game,” I’m bracing myself for quite the challenge. Although we’ll eventually get some resolution, our immediate focus lies on an intricate game that awaits us, as per CBS.
The Fugitive Unit pursues a clandestine band of renegade government operatives, who are orchestrating a potential internal act of terrorism within the country. Meanwhile, the team gears up for significant modifications.
So, for one last Tuesday this spring, let’s start out the action with FBI!

An Attack Planned At 26 Fed
Setting off on a new path indeed! The ex-actor from “Big Bang Theory,” Kevin Sussman, is venturing into uncharted territories as a paranoid whistleblower. Given that he tips off Jubal in the opening minutes of the finale, it seems his warnings are not far from being validated.
Don’t Trust Agents With Pontytails Who Aren’t Maggie
To put it simply, I initially believed that woman in the FBI finale preview could be Missy Peregrym playing Maggie. However, Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) swiftly figured out she was working for Forefront and not a trustworthy agent. Moreover, she had a gunshot wound to her arm and could only cover it with bandages from a convenience store.
Is it certain that Jubal’s gunshot wound is the only instance where a character on FBI will find themselves in peril this evening, isn’t it? ABSOLUTELY?
Jubal Is A Loose End
If Jubal manages to survive the Forefront assault, it seems uncertain about his upcoming prospects, and I’m less convinced by his assertion of self-reliance, given that this is the finale – stakes tend to be incredibly high during finales.
ADIC Reynolds And DAD Keane?
It’s due to Alana De La Garza’s (Isobel) commitment to Jubal’s innocence that she has placed her career on the line, and now I find myself even more engrossed in the possibility of Jeremy Sisto’s character not being a traitor.
It appears that ADIC Reynolds and Deputy Assistant Director Keane are the key figures in charge at 26 Fed, and they have significant influence. Reynolds has raised some concerns for Jubal due to his questionable actions, but it’s possible that there is more to Keane than we currently perceive.
Forefront In The NYPD?
It’s understandable that Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and OA (Zeeko Zaki) might be wary when NYPD officers interfered with their investigation into the whistleblower. However, it would have added a touch of humor if one of these officers had an amusing wrist tattoo as they requested to examine for Forefront ink. Imagine the scene if one of them sported a “DUN DUN” tattoo, reminiscent of the iconic sound effect from Law & Order?
Trust No One
In this episode, it’s reassuring to see that there appears to be no question about each member’s loyalty within the main group, unlike some fictional FBI agents who are constantly suspicious about trust issues.
“Trust no one.” – Fox Mulder, The X-Files
I’m keeping a close watch, hoping it won’t lead to an unpleasant surprise in the forthcoming moments. I’m on the lookout for signals from the backup team as well as the ADIC and DAD at present.
Well, The Bad Guy Wasn’t Reynolds
Farewell Reynolds! It sadly seemed destined that one of our beloved characters would be caught in an explosion, but the pain is intensified knowing Isobel might have been involved just moments after Alana De La Garza shared what her character doesn’t regret regretting! Thankfully Maggie was nearby. If there’s anyone who knows how to persevere through the seemingly impossible on primetime television, it’s Maggie Bell.
Be Still, My Background Character-Loving Heart
Despite my strong preference for the main characters – Isobel, Jubal, Maggie, OA, Scola, and now Dani – not betraying us, I was rather boastful when I claimed to watch over the supporting cast. FBI, please don’t remove Ian, Kelly, or Elise from my sight! Here’s to hoping that Keane doesn’t have any hidden agents among the familiar faces we haven’t discovered yet.
Welcome Back To The Land Of The Living, Isobel!
I didn’t truly believe that the FBI had actually killed off Isobel midway through Season 7 finale, but it’s exciting to notice she’s only got a minor flesh wound. I wouldn’t be concerned unless she sided with Dani and decided to seek medical help. After all, something seems amiss when an FBI agent willingly visits a doctor or EMT! Jubal has been roaming New York City with a bleeding arm wound for most of this episode.
Best Reaction Shot Of The Night
38 minutes into the show, Zeeko Zaki takes the cake for the Most Memorable FBI Reaction with his expression when he found a grenade hidden in the back of his CI’s car. Will that grenade prove crucial in the finale? I’d wager yes. And OA’s off-the-cuff exasperation was still a good chuckle, indeed.
Isobel Is A Good Liar
It’s unclear how exactly Keane managed to secure his promotion to the rank of DAD, but I strongly doubt it was due to his exceptional skills in deception. Even if Isobel wasn’t certain that he was a traitor, Keane certainly isn’t convincing anyone of his innocence.
Dear FBI,
By no means should you harm Elise, Kelly, or Ian! The body armor they are wearing seems rather insufficient for their situation. Couldn’t we find some protective headgear or similar equipment in the top-secret FBI facility?
A Firefight Straight Out Of A Movie (Or The Last Of Us)
Watching this intense firefight in the subway tunnels was both awe-inspiring and nerve-wracking. It seemed so cinematic that I wouldn’t be shocked if it ended up on the big screen. Yet, it reminded me of a recent episode from The Last of Us. Perhaps Jubal and his team can take comfort in knowing they were dealing with ordinary double agents, not zombie double agents infected with fungus!
Is This the End Of Keane?
As a movie buff, it appears the squad has managed to outsmart Keane and neutralize quite a few undercover operatives. However, I can’t help but feel that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him. His desperate plea for understanding from Isobel did bring a moment of amusement, though.
I believe we should have a new type of interaction. One that is beneficial for both parties, harmonious, and conflict-free.” – Guy who just caused chaos among colleagues.
I’m glad to hear that the FBI has been given another season, despite International and Most Wanted not returning.
Not Just A Flesh Wound!
The FBI series isn’t typically known for dramatic cliffhangers, but the episode titled “A New Day” certainly delivered one. Isobel unexpectedly collapsed, causing Jubal to appear anxious, and Maggie exclaimed that the SAC had no heartbeat! Kudos to the writers of FBI for executing this effectively. It was convincing how Isobel seemed fine until she started making errors in her speech, even prompting Jubal to address her as “Ma’am” a few times before he realized something was amiss and switched to calling her “Isobel.
Let me find my happy moments where I can when the finale ended on a pulse-less Isobel Castille!

Time For FBI: International!
To be honest, there were moments when I questioned if the final episode of FBI: International would indeed unfold in Japan and disband our beloved team. But I’m eagerly anticipating that the series finale will win me over, convincing me wholeheartedly of its captivating storyline.
I Hope She Checked The Seal
Given my background at an all-girls school where we were advised against taking drinks from unknown sources, I can only fervently hope that the woman inspected the seal on her complimentary water bottle before drinking it! It’s hard to imagine that this random character would meet her end so quickly in the final episode of FBI: International, especially with a serial killer on the loose, isn’t it?
Who’s Getting The Promotion?
If there’s any advantage to this being the final episode of FBI: International, it’s that I won’t have to fret over Vinessa Vidotto’s character Vo or Carter Redwood’s Raines being promoted and potentially leaving the show. Granted, I might lose both of them if they don’t end up on FBI or the CIA spinoff with Tom Ellis, but I can see that as a bit of a consolation prize.
