As a seasoned gamer who has been following the Call of Duty League for years, I can hardly contain my excitement for FaZe Zooma’s 100,000 tournament series! The upcoming CDL season is shaping up to be a thrilling one, and this tournament promises to be an exhilarating prelude.
To celebrate the launch of Black Ops 6 and the upcoming Call of Duty League season, FaZe Zooma announced a 100,000 tournament series featuring CDL pros.
2025’s CDL season is just about here, and after an exciting Rostermania phase, we now have a clearer picture of the teams. Scrappy and Envoy have parted ways with Toronto, while HyDra left Cloud 9 to team up with Ghosty on LA Thieves, forming a powerhouse squad.
In the meantime, OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe, as expected following strong performances, decided not to make any changes. As for Minnesota, New York, and Vancouver, they haven’t revealed their new lineups yet. Still, there’s plenty of promising talent in the league, with many other teams showing potential beyond the top three organizations.
In FaZe Zooma’s upcoming tournament, top-tier players may not have the chance to field their complete new lineups, but they are permitted to team up with their designated AR (Assault Rifle) or SMG (Submachine Gun) counterparts instead.

100,000 dollars in total are distributed across three separate competitions, each offering a prize of 25,000 dollars. These events include 12 teams, comprised of four players each, who hail from the Call of Duty League and specifically feature AR (Assault Rifle) and SMG (Submachine Gun) duos. For example, the team “Tiny Terrors” consists of SMG duo members Simp and aBeZy, along with an AR duo partner from another team.
All matches will be streamed live on Zooma’s Twitch channel.
Here is the complete schedule.
- October 29: 12 p.m. PST, 3 p.m. EST
- November 1: 12 p.m. PST, 3 p.m. EST
- November 5-6: 10 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. EST
6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) and 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Zooma’s Twitch channel is when the teams will be chosen. Unfortunately, Zooma hasn’t shared any details about which maps or weapons will be accessible during the event.
Expert players such as Dashy and Shotzzy from Black Ops 6 express concern about discovering good play choices this season, as they consider the current map selection “subpar.” However, it seems likely that Vault, Pyback, Vorkuta, and Skyline could be potential maps to watch out for.
As for weapons, the Model L, GPR 91, PP-919, and Jackal PDW emerged as early favorites.
