In each Pokemon collection, there’s usually one card that gains significant popularity and value. The Prismatic Evolutions set from January 2025, with a focus on Eeveelution, is no exception. The most expensive card in this series is the Umbreon ex special illustration rare, valued at $1,500.
Streamers like FaZe Kaysan are dominating platforms such as TikTok and Twitch by regularly unboxing pricey packs live on their streams every day.
FaZe Kaysan finally opens $1,500 Umbreon card
In April 2025, the live-streamer embarked on a quest to extract the elusive Umbreon exchange card, but despite buying and opening numerous packs valued in the tens of thousands of dollars, they failed to secure even one rare card.
For approximately a week, he purchased an enormous amount of Prismatic Evolutions packs from various stores, costing him significantly more than $30,000 in the pursuit of the thrill that comes with opening the most prized card within the collection. Kaysan then displayed his massive acquisitions on X, uploading images of tables laden with elite trainer boxes, booster bundles, and other items.
Regardless of having spent more than $30,000 on purchasing the Prismatic Evolutions packs, Kaysan remained thrilled upon finding the card he had been eagerly seeking.
So excited, in fact, that he fell to the ground and broke down after pulling the card.
After obtaining a seldom-seen Umbreon card from Pokémon, worth $1,500, which he had long pursued and invested $30,000 in packs, FaZe Kaysan became emotional.

A multitude of enthusiasts flooded comment sections on various posts, expressing their opinions about his expedition, with numerous individuals astonished by how minimal the rewards were compared to his investment.
“$30k for a $1.5k card? that’s not ROI, that’s religion,” one user said.
Another commented: “Wait, the card is only worth 1.5k?”
“This wasn’t about profit, this was about closure,” a third replied.
Instead of physically obtaining a single high-graded card, it was suggested that he could have purchased several PSA 10 versions of the same card on eBay. The cost for this approach would be between $2,500 and $3,000, significantly less than the $30,000 he actually spent.
