FaZe Jason shares that he encountered threatening messages following the publicity surrounding his outing with Sakura, Kyedae’s sister, during the Streamer Prom event which spread across various social media platforms.
Drawing inspiration from Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, Twitch broadcaster Funny Mike hosted his Streamer Prom extravaganza at Houston, Texas, on the 18th of June, a Wednesday.
At the prom, FaZe member Jasontheween showed up accompanied by Sakura Shymko, Kyedae’s younger sister. Almost instantly, they were among the most popular pairs at the gathering.
During the occasion, a video surfaced online showing Sakura kissing Jason, quickly becoming a popular topic. Later, the prominent figure from FaZe Clan reached out to Kyedae seeking her agreement following his statement expressing gratitude and feeling fortunate to have Sakura as his date for the prom.

To set the record straight, whispers started swirling online about my belief that Jason and I didn’t hit it off on our date, which unfortunately led to abusive messages – including threats of harm – being directed towards us, the creators involved.
FaZe Jason hits back after receiving threats over Streamer Prom
He stated in his post, “Sakura and I are doing well,” but he asked everyone to cease sending harmful messages such as death threats and harassment, particularly aimed at her. While our streams provide entertainment, misunderstandings can occur. Today didn’t go as planned, but we appreciate your support. Let’s remember that we’re all human, so please show kindness. Thank you.

Fans of Jason and Sakura flooded the comments of his post with support for the streamers.
Users are sending out death threats and hateful messages due to a fabricated connection with a streamer. Clearly, it’s past time for people to focus on their jobs.
Another said: “So crazy mfs sending death threats, I’m sorry you guys have to deal with that.”
“Death threats over a Twitch stream should result in a felony plain and simple,” replied a third.
In March, Valkyrae responded forcefully when she faced death threats, which were the result of an incident involving a stream sniping attack that created quite a stir on social media.
