Fast Food Simulator - Console (Xbox, PS5, PS4, Switch) release explained

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt and a soft spot for simulation games, I can’t help but feel a pang of anticipation when it comes to Fast Food Simulator. Having dabbled in the culinary chaos of Cook, Serve, Delicious! and the retail mayhem of Two Point Hospital, I’m eager to dive into the frying pans and drive-thrus of this new sim.

The collaborative game Supermarket Together proved to be a Steam sensation last August and remains widely played today. Yesterday, a title bearing striking resemblance was launched in early access: Fast Food Simulator, where you assume the responsibilities of restaurant staff. As of now, it’s exclusively available on PC platforms. With this fresh release stirring excitement, players can’t help but wonder if it might eventually grace the screens of PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Fast Food Simulator – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch) Release Explained

Right now, Fast Food Simulator can be played on PC as it’s in early access. If you’re eager to try it out, grab a copy on Steam. For console players though, unfortunately, the game isn’t accessible yet. Whether this will change is uncertain at the moment. However, it’s certain that the developers are going to work on refining the PC version first.

On the official Discord server, one of the creators revealed that if the Food Simulator early access is well-received, they plan to launch the game on additional platforms. A glance at SteamDB shows that the game drew over 4,500 players concurrently, which might not seem like a lot but it’s difficult to label it as a flop. Therefore, there’s still some optimism for its success.

It remains uncertain whether the game will be available on previous generation consoles such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, or if it will exclusively launch for more recent systems like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

As a gamer, I just got word from the developers that there’s another game sharing the same name as the one I’ve been eyeing on the PS Store. Here’s the catch: it’s an entirely separate project. So, to avoid any confusion, make sure you’re aware of this when you’re ready to dive in!
