City Connection has kept their word by officially launching “Farland Saga I&II: Saturn Tribute” in Japan today, as they announced back in February. Individual ports of this game are now accessible in Japan on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Additionally, a physical collection is available for the first two consoles.
The individual Steam platforms for Farland Saga and its sequel, Farland Saga II, can be found globally, complete with English descriptions, although they currently only provide Japanese language options. On the day of launch, City Connection released a new press statement in Japanese, but we observed that one of the images for Farland Saga II features an English menu for the ports’ updated functions such as Rewind and Quick Save/Load. Whether this might indicate a future release of an actual English localization is uncertain at this point.
Just checked out some fresh screenshots for Farland Saga I&II: Saturn Tribute, they’re right down there! If you haven’t caught up on our previous coverage, be sure to check it out for all the juicy details about these exciting ports!
