Phoenixx has announced that they plan to launch a global English adaptation for “Fantasy Maiden Wars – Dream of the Stray Dreamer“. In 2025, the PC version of this strategy RPG can be obtained through Steam. Moreover, the English-translated version is also expected to appear on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
This Touhou-themed strategy role-playing game draws significant influence from the Super Robot Wars series and originates from the independent Japanese video game community, known as the doujin game scene. Initially, the doujin group Sanbondo launched four episodic PC games in this series:
- Gensou Shoujo Taisen Kou (紅) – physically at Comiket 77 in December 2009, digitally in March 2016
- Gensou Shoujo Taisen You (妖) – physically at Reitaisai 9 in May 2012, digitally in October 2016
