Fantasy Life i version 1.3.3 is now available finally bringing the camera updates to Switch and Switch 2

Today, Level-5 has rolled out version 1.3.3 update for “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time” on all platforms, primarily focusing on improvements for the Switch and its upcoming sequel. The updates for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam) are mainly to enable cross-play compatibility with the Switch versions.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that today’s update on my Nintendo Switch and potential future models introduces Camera settings, similar to what other platforms introduced in their previous updates. This exciting update also allows us to gather the coveted Pegasus Mount, a reward for all players, on our Switches!

Beyond these two fantastic features, this update brings the ability to replay Life Songs upon achieving Master Rank for each life. You can access this by chatting with the respective Life Masters. This patch arrives swiftly after Level-5 announced that Fantasy Life 1 has surpassed a million units sold!

If you’re thinking about acquiring it or if you’ve already purchased it, be sure to explore our comprehensive guides for Fantasy Life i right here. Additionally, I’ve written an article discussing the game on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam Deck, ROG Ally – you can find it here. For those interested, you can read my glowing 10/10 review of the game as well, which is also available here.

Fantasy Life I: The Time-Thieving Girl has been released on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam), as well as the original Nintendo Switch.

  • ● Added “Camera Operation (Normal / Far)” to the Options screen.
NormalKeeps the same camera behavior as before.
FarAllows the camera to view farther into the environment.

  •  Adjusted Flying with Skelegon so it can be used while jumping or swimming.

Adjusting Life Songs

  • Added an option to re-listen to Life Songs, which play when reaching Master Rank for a Life, by speaking with the respective Life Master.

Adjusted Farming Actions

Bug Fixes

Only for Switch 2 / Switch

PS5 / PS4 / Xbox / Steam versions have already been updated.

  • Resolved a problem, allowing players to acquire the Pegasus Mount directly from the treasures found within the Guilde Office and Paladin’s Guild situated in Eternia Village.

  • Resolved a problem in Main Story Chapter 3 titled “Set Up Sign and Furniture.” Previously, if you accidentally gave away or sold the necessary sign or furniture, you wouldn’t be able to replace it. However, now, if this happens, you can buy the missing item from Marco’s Shop, located at the Base Camp’s Guild.

  • In Main Story Chapter 3 titled “Set Up Sign and Furniture,” I resolved a problem that prevented advancement when the required item happened to be of Premium Quality.

  • Adjusted a problem that caused the application of status effects on enemies to unintentionally affect the player as well when assigning a skill with such an effect.

  • ● Fixed an issue where the no-mount zones were larger than intended on the Tropica Isles.

  • ● Fixed other minor bugs.
