Fans can now own a giant version of their favorite VTubers

In today’s world, VTubers have risen to prominence as digital icons, gaining more and more popularity each passing year. Now, enthusiasts have the opportunity to own a large, cuddly plush toy depicting their preferred virtual broadcasters.

VTubers, short for ‘Virtual YouTube Creators,’ are individuals who present themselves digitally, using an animated character that mimics their actions instead of revealing their actual physical appearance online.

Over time, these social media personalities, such as IronMouse, Usada Pekora, and Gawr Gura, have risen to stardom on various online platforms, including Twitch and YouTube, and are now widely recognized figures in the digital world.

Indeed, the virtual YouTuber agency ‘Hololive’ staged a performance at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium prior to Anime Expo. This marked the inaugural live event of its kind during an MLB game, and the excitement is continuing to grow.

Given the steadily increasing popularity of VTubers, the desire for related merchandise reaches unprecedented levels… which is why it’s only logical that a business would introduce some of these virtual stars into the physical realm as oversized plush toys.

Hololive is selling massive VTuber plushies

Hololive is introducing a collection of lifelike, chibi-styled plush dolls featuring their third-generation Virtual YouTuber celebrities. These adorable plushies are now available for fans to own, with options including Usada Pekora, Houshou Marine, Shiranui Flare, and Shirogane Noel.

Each plushie is slightly different depending on the VTuber’s design, but they generally stand around 3 feet and 2 inches tall (or approximately 100 centimeters). For example, Pekora stands taller at about 4 feet (125 cm). Additionally, these plushies are quite substantial in weight, typically weighing about 18.8 pounds (8.5 kilograms).

These plushies are ideal for dedicated VTuber enthusiasts, given their relatively high price tag. According to SoraNews24, they’re being offered for sale at approximately 66,000 Yen ($455 USD), a sizable investment indeed!

Currently, the oversized plush toys from Hololive can be pre-ordered exclusively online at the Taito Gear 6 Goods Shop between July 10 and August 11. Delivery is anticipated for early 2026.

In a recent development, VTubers have experienced another significant milestone as Korone Inugami conversed with the author and director of the popular Hollywood zombie movie ’28 Years Later,’ leaving them utterly puzzled and surprised.
