Fan sneaks onto Avengers: Doomsday set and reveals one big detail

As a hardcore Marvel enthusiast, I somehow managed to pull off an unbelievable stunt by sneaking onto the set of the highly anticipated and top-secret film, Avengers: Doomsday. My video, which I later deleted, has now gone viral, causing quite a stir in the Marvel universe. In the footage, there’s one detail that hints at a significant connection to the X-Men – a detail so subtle, yet packed with implications for the future of our favorite superheroes.

Excitedly, I can’t help but express my anticipation for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, a film that promises to deliver an Endgame-level team-up experience. A fascinating twist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was unveiled last year when it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would rejoin the MCU, not as Iron Man, but as Doctor Doom!

In addition to Doom, a diverse group consisting of The Fantastic Four, several members of the Thunderbolts, Captain America, Thor, and characters like Professor X (portrayed by Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (played by Ian McKellen) from the Fox universe will be part of this endeavor, too.

Since March 2025, the forthcoming Marvel film has been in production in London, UK. Despite efforts to keep it secret, a TikTok user with the handle @theyneversawitcoming somehow gained access to the set and captured a video.

Madripoor bar spotted in Avengers: Doomsday set video leak

The video, originally posted on TikTok but now only accessible via the user’s Instagram, features a bar located on the film set that represents Madripoor – a notoriously lawless fictitious Southeast Asian island. (For those unfamiliar, Madripoor is a lawless island often seen in comic books and other media.)

Due to its constant political turmoil, it serves as a sanctuary for those considered outcasts, hired guns, and mutants, alike. This place is closely associated with the character Wolverine, who went by the name Patch in the Marvel comics, during his time there.

In a thrilling twist, I found myself stepping foot into Madripoor for the first time while binge-watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It turned out to be the covert hideout for Sharon Carter, who was pulling strings as the Power Broker – the series’ mysterious weapons dealer and problem solver operating behind the scenes.

The return of the island in Avengers: Doomsday might hint at some significant plot progressions, with one potential outcome being the much-anticipated conclusion to Sharon Carter’s narrative.

This could also pave the way for the introduction of mutants in the MCU, or perhaps hint at the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, a character whose appearance in the film has been speculated about but not officially confirmed by the studio.

In this scenario, the Fox X-Men characters’ entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) timeline might suggest that this setting serves as the point of collision for all these storylines, or a place where fresh partnerships are formed in the struggle against Doctor Doom.

The news seems to have ignited curiosity amongst the followers, as one posted on X/Twitter, “Could this be the Power Broker’s comeback?” Another merely inquired, “Is this Wolverine?

A third individual commented, “If Madripoor appears in the film, it would be great if it allows us to wrap up the Sharon/Power-Broker storyline. Perhaps as an exciting opening scene that introduces Sam’s team or reintroduces Yelena’s team.
