In several live streams held in New York City, Emily openly talked about her educational background, revealing that an impressive sum of $170,000 was covered by her parents for her college tuition.
Instead of Emily’s joke, she playfully told her fellow OTK streamers that she had no intention of repaying her parents for her college expenses. “My parents covered the costs, and then they asked me to pay them back, but I just… don’t feel like it,” she explained.

She acknowledged her good fortune regarding her current situation, stating, “Ever since I achieved success as a streamer, I’ve made it a priority to ensure my parents’ quality of life and meet their needs. They’ve always been there for me, so I would never want them to struggle.
She shared that her bond with her parents is strong, filled with good-natured jokes, and she thought it was suitable to talk about this connection during the live broadcast, unaware of how some viewers might perceive their discussion.
Moreover, Emily acknowledged that the current situation may not have prompted a change in her habits if it hadn’t occurred. She shared how her fans’ comments helped her understand that keeping promises and returning favors need not be difficult.
