Extracted Episode 6 Delayed: What You Need to Know About the New Release Date!

You might have noticed Extracted Episode 6 wasn’t on last night when it should have been. Here’s why the episode has been delayed, alongside when you can catch it.

Not only is Fox responsible for some of our favorite binge-worthy TV shows, but its reality TV roster is pretty stacked too. Extracted is their latest survival show, following 12 contestants as they vie for a $250,000 prize in rural Canada.

The big twist here is that contestants don’t get to decide their own fate. You might have seen a huge control room in the TV show’s promotional shots, and that essentially tells you all you need to know – their families are watching on elsewhere and calling the shots.

Dedicated fans will know Extracted Episode 6 was supposed to air on March 17, but it didn’t. So why was it delayed, and when will we actually be able to see it?

Extracted Episode 6 delay down to “other obligations”

Based on Fox’s statement, Episode 6 of the show didn’t air on March 17 because they had other TV commitments to take care of. It is expected to be broadcast on March 24, 2025 instead.

Exactly what this “obligation” is wasn’t confirmed, but if it’s anything like the current CBS delays, we can assume it’s tied into ongoing sports coverage. March Madness is currently underway, which is a key part of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament.

It’s being suggested that the upcoming live broadcast of the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards may be causing scheduling disruptions this week.

I’m excited to share that although Fox hasn’t officially announced it, I believe we can expect the upcoming episode on March 24th. It will air as always in the 7pm central standard time slot, so mark your calendars!

    • Alliances face strain as families secretly give supplies to survivalists. Competitors must make choices impacting both fellow contestants in the wilderness and families at headquarters.
  • Episode 5, ‘Burn Before Reading’: March 10, 2025
    • The members in HQ must unanimously rank all the survivalists from strongest to weakest; family members get a chance to write a letter to their survivalist; an unexpected twist causes some family members to lose their momentum.
  • Episode 6, ‘TBA’: March 24, 2025
  • Episode 7, ‘TBA’: March 31, 2025

How to watch

You’ve got a couple of choices for how to watch new episodes of Extracted: watch them as they air on Fox (remember our schedule and 7pm CT timings here), or stream on Hulu.

If you manage things properly, you could watch all the episodes using the streaming service’s 7-day free trial. To make this happen, it would be best to register by March 31st.
