Until now, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had the highest-rated reviews on Metacritic. However, it has been surpassed by the upgraded versions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom for the Switch 2, both released with the new console.
According to GamesRadar, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom currently leads with a rating of 95, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild equals Expedition 33’s combined score of 93. It is worth mentioning that Expedition 33 boasts over 80 reviews from critics, whereas Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have eleven and nine evaluations respectively.
In an update, the Zelda packages offer enhanced resolution, smoother gameplay with a better frame rate, and High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility. Additionally, it introduces the Zelda Notes feature that facilitates sharing items and provides tracking for Korok Seeds and shrine locations within the game.
Among the games that have gotten an upgrade for the Nintendo Switch, you can find some I’ve been eagerly anticipating, like No Man’s Sky, the enhanced version of which I’m excited to dive into. Plus, there’s Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends: Z-A, games that have me counting down the days until their release on my Nintendo Switch!
