The “Harry Potter” HBO TV series adaptation is rounding out its cast with seven new additions.

The following actors have joined the cast of the show: Katherine Parkinson portraying Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt taking on Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, and Bertie Carvel in the role of Cornelius Fudge. It has been exclusively revealed by EbMaster that Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby will be playing Petunia and Vernon Dursley respectively.

Delighted to share the news, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the upcoming film adaptation of my favorite series.

The show is expected to begin production in the U.K. over the summer.

HBO is portraying the show as a true-to-original adaptation of the widely acclaimed J.K. Rowling book series. By delving into every nook and cranny of the wizarding world, each season aims to share the magical tales of “Harry Potter” with both new and longtime enthusiasts, according to its official description.

The show “The Series” is overseen creatively by Francesca Gardiner, who not only pens its script but also manages its production as the showrunner. Mark Mylod takes on the roles of executive producer and director for several episodes of the series airing on HBO. This collaboration happens through Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television. J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts from Brontë Film and TV, and David Heyman from Heyday Films are all involved as executive producers in the production of this series.
