At the Enscrolled Crepesculum event, the action unfolds across five distinct phases, each centered around conflict. Yet, these phases differ from typical combat missions because they incorporate a unique buff system known as the Mutation Mechanic.

As soon as you choose your characters and the game starts, you’ll need to play according to the rules set by the Mutation Mechanism to overcome the opponents. It’s crucial to quickly defeat enemies, because each time you activate the Mutation Mechanism, your Stage Strength level will rise.

Advancing in your Stage Buff level enhances your character’s battle abilities. Higher ranks enable quicker activation of Mutation Mechanisms, making it easier to vanquish opponents.

During stages one through four, there will be a Buildup Buffer period followed by a Grand Clash Finale. The Buildup Buffer period will span over three cycles, requiring you to swiftly defeat adversaries and activate Mutation Mechanisms. Upon entering the Grand Clash Finale, you’ll no longer receive buffs, but you’ll gain the ability to boost your score.

In the Final Phase, you’ll engage in a boss battle, and this is where you can employ the strongest buffs you’ve amassed throughout the earlier trials. You are allowed to choose up to two buffs tailored to your chosen character, and then proceed with the climactic showdown.

You will receive Trial characters across the stages, so you can use them if you lack your own.

Stage 1 – A Deathward Negotiation

For this particular phase, there isn’t a unique Mutation Mechanism to choose from. However, you can select those from the earlier stages if you’ve advanced your Stage Buff Ranks sufficiently. You’re only allowed to activate a total of two Mutation Mechanism Buffs in the final stage. The suggested Mutation Mechanism buffs for the final phase are as follows:
