The initial trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 was revealed at New York Comic-Con, but it surprisingly ended up online due to Krysten Ritter.
Ever since the show ended in March with a surprising twist – Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) seizing power in New York – viewers have been eagerly awaiting news about its future.
Charlie Cox is coming back as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the second season of *Daredevil: Born Again*. Krysten Ritter will also return as Jessica Jones, marking her first appearance in the role since her Netflix show concluded in 2019.
Although Marvel hasn’t yet published the official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, actress Deborah Ann Woll unintentionally shared a portion of it when she recorded it for her Instagram story. Here’s a summary of what the leaked footage showed.
Jessica Jones, Bullseye, and Foggy Nelson show up in the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer

Okay, so the new teaser is about a minute long, and it’s hitting all the right notes! We get a sweet scene of Matt and Karen dancing – seriously, they’re adorable. Then, it cuts to Bullseye just casually getting a milkshake, which is… unsettling, honestly. But it’s not all darkness; there’s a really nice moment with Kingpin and Vanessa looking genuinely happy at dinner. It’s a cool contrast, showing everyday life happening around all the danger, with kids playing while the Vigilante Task Force is nearby. It’s definitely building the tension!
These short scenes feel like a strange take on the ‘BB Report’ segments from the first season, and it’s possible the Mayor’s office is creating these videos to control the narrative and keep New Yorkers calm.
Okay, so things get crazy fast! I was totally shocked when this explosion just went off near Matt and Karen. Then, boom, we see a SWAT team having a shootout with an armored truck – super intense! And finally, we get our first glimpse of Matthew Lillard’s new character, which is really intriguing and leaves you wanting to know more.
Jessica Jones, sporting her signature motorbike boots, quickly gets into a fight with another SWAT team. Daredevil joins the fray, and Kingpin is shown boxing—and brutally punching—an unidentified opponent in a ring.
Okay, so I just saw a quick glimpse of Foggy Nelson, which is wild! Remember how Bullseye took him out at the very beginning of last season? I didn’t expect to see him at all, so it’s definitely got me wondering what’s going on.
The trailer uses Childish Gambino’s song “Lithonia,” and has very little spoken dialogue, keeping the story a secret for now. However, it seems likely the plot will focus on Daredevil learning to fight against Kingpin.
I’m so excited for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again! It’s finally hitting Disney+ in March 2026. While we wait, I’m keeping busy checking out guides to all the other Marvel movies and TV shows in the works, and I’m especially curious about what’s happening with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It’s going to be a long wait, but there’s plenty to look forward to!
