Lumines Arise

From the makers behind Tetris Effect, the highly praised, captivating puzzle game that transformed block-dropping into an emotional odyssey, we present a fresh creation: Lumines Arise.

For the very first time at the State of Play event, it was unveiled that this isn’t your ordinary “puzzle game fare,” contrary to the playful claims made by the developers.

The demonstration afforded us an initial peek at its graphics, rhythmic gameplay style, and the signature immersive ambiance that Enhance Games is known for. If you’re a fan of Tetris Effect, Lumines Arise appears to satisfy the same craving while infusing it with innovative vigor.

Instead, You won’t have to wait much longer as a playable demo will be available this coming summer. Rest assured, the complete game will be released in the autumn.

Here’s the trailer:

Pragmata

Following a long period without communication, the enigmatic project known as Pragmata has reappeared in today’s State of Play, maintaining its air of wildness and mystery just as we remembered it.

Back in 2020, I first caught wind of Capcom’s thrilling sci-fi action-adventure game. Over the years, it’s faced numerous setbacks and overhauls. However, the latest trailer has just dropped, and boy, is it brimming with excitement!

In the revised trailer, we now know that the young woman with blonde hair is called Diana. She continues to team up with the man resembling an astronaut from the future. This time, they’re soaring through enemy territory on his back, dodging robots, mechs, and drones. There are scenes of intense gunfire, hacking, and colossal mechanical adversaries. The action unfolds amidst a futuristic landscape that appears to be on the moon.

Capcom now says it’s launching in 2026, so we’ll be waiting a bit longer.

Here’s the trailer:

Romeo is a Dead Man

Straight from the imaginative brain of Suda51, the mastermind behind Lollipop Chainsaw, emerges Romeo is a Dead Man. This speedy, brutally violent sci-fi hack-and-slash game was unveiled during today’s presentation.

A character armed with a katana and a gun embarks on a destructive rampage against some of the most bizarre, ferocious zombies imaginable. The fighting is fast-paced, flashy, and chaotic, featuring lots of violence, speed, and excessive panache. By the way, his jacket has the ability to speak, which it occasionally does for no apparent reason.

The release window? “2026… maybe.”

Here’s the trailer:

Silent Hill f

The first major installment in the Silent Hill series in more than ten years has arrived, and it was unveiled with a chilling new video preview.

1960s Japan serves as the backdrop for this game, where teenage girls encounter unimaginable terrors in a town shrouded by fog on a mountain. The showcase provided a chilling peek into their nightmare, filled with images of schoolgirls paralyzed and contorted like scarecrows, grotesque monstrosities, and moments of intense, crowbar-wielding survival.

Experiencing an otherworldly, grisly twist on the psychological terror that Silent Hill is known for, we’ve been eagerly anticipating it, and now we have a confirmed launch date: September 25, 2025.

Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement

Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement was officially revealed during today’s State of Play.

The trailer suggests that it will maintain the beloved 2.5D side-scrolling gameplay from Ritual of the Night, but with a more polished, cinematic feel to it.

In a medieval atmosphere, this game exudes a somber and intense vibe. The characters are fully vocalized and some visually striking cutscenes add depth. Regrettably, we didn’t receive detailed insights about the story or gameplay mechanics. However, the tone aligns perfectly with the series, offering a dark, fashionable, and atmospheric experience. Expected to launch in 2026.
