This December, Peacock is adding 100 new movies and shows, including reality TV, holiday specials, and a variety of films. While original programming is limited to one eagerly awaited action series, the December lineup still offers plenty to enjoy. Highlights include a popular, long-running TV series now available in its entirety (all 15 seasons!) and a beloved family movie making a comeback – both perfect options when you need a break from traditional holiday favorites.
Check out our recommendations for the best movies and TV shows arriving on Peacock in December 2025. You’ll also find a full list of everything new coming to the platform, and when you can start watching it.
‘All the Money in the World’ (2017)
Available To Stream on December 1
Ridley Scott’s film, All the Money in the World, is a thrilling crime story based on the real kidnapping of John Paul Getty III in 1973. The movie centers around J. Paul Getty (played by Christopher Plummer), a wealthy oil tycoon, and the international crisis that unfolds when he refuses to pay the $17 million ransom demanded by the kidnappers. He fears paying would put his family at further risk. Despite pleas from his son’s mother, Gail Harris (Michelle Williams), it’s up to Getty’s bodyguard, Fletcher Chace (Mark Wahlberg), to handle the situation and try to bring the young man home safely.
Despite a last-minute cast change – Christopher Plummer stepped in to replace Kevin Spacey following serious allegations – All the Money in the World delivers a compelling, character-focused crime thriller. Director Ridley Scott maintains a brisk pace, skillfully blending drama and suspense. While it may not be Ridley Scott’s greatest film – it currently has a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – viewers seeking a thrilling story based on true events will find it captivating.
‘Supernatural’ (Season 1–15)
Available To Stream on December 22
Supernatural boasts a remarkably dedicated fanbase and ran for an impressive 15 seasons. At its heart, the show was driven by the strong connection between the characters Sam and Dean, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Beyond the screen, Supernatural created a vibrant community, making it a fan favorite at conventions. Its unique format, featuring both standalone monster stories and ongoing season-long plots, made the show highly rewatchable – even episodes considered ‘filler’ are fondly remembered by viewers.
New shows are always welcome on streaming services, but some really popular series can be a major reason people choose one platform over another. The complete 15-season, 327-episode run of Supernatural will be available on Peacock, and that’s sure to attract a lot of viewers. You can stream the entire series on Peacock starting December 22, 2025.
‘The Copenhagen Test’ (Season 1)
Available To Stream on December 27
In The Copenhagen Test, Simu Liu plays Alexander Hale, a talented intelligence analyst whose life is turned upside down when he’s hacked. This allows others to track his every action, and he’s caught in a dangerous game as a mysterious agency and the hackers themselves try to control him.
The Copenhagen Test is a smart and exciting sci-fi thriller that explores our anxieties about increasingly sophisticated technology. It’s more than just a typical spy story, offering psychological complexity and a polished feel. All eight episodes of the first season will be available to stream on Peacock starting December 27, 2025.
‘Despicable Me 4’ (2024)
Available To Stream December 28
The Despicable Me movies have become a huge online phenomenon, recently with fans making hats to wear to the fourth film and the popular “GentleMinions” trend on TikTok for Minions: The Rise of Gru. This strong fan dedication has clearly helped the movies succeed and build a lasting fanbase. Now, the fourth movie is returning to Peacock after being available on Netflix, giving fans a chance to watch it alongside the first three films and Minions: The Rise of Gru. That makes Peacock the perfect place to enjoy the hilarious Minions and some fun family entertainment this December. Despicable Me 4 will be available on Peacock starting December 28, 2025.
