In Summoners War: Chronicles, Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and Mari from Evangelion join forces as unique characters. Each boasts special traits and abilities based on their roles in the source material. Here’s a breakdown:
- Shinji Ikari: Pilot of Unit-01, appears as a warrior-type Monster with Water and Dark attributes.
- Rei Ayanami: Pilot of Unit-00, is featured as a knight-type Monster with Wind and Light attributes.
- Asuka Langley Soryu: A skilled pilot, is depicted as an assassin-type Monster with Fire and Dark attributes.
- Mari Makinami Illustrious: Known for her exceptional piloting skills, she joins as an archer-type Monster with Fire and Light attributes.
In this rendition, the visuals synonymous with Evangelion and the distinctive fighting methods of Chronicles are seamlessly combined. For example, Rei’s ability, “A.T. Field,” can shield allies by neutralizing enemy assaults, while Mari’s “Pallet Rifle” unleashes potent long-range attacks.
Monsters that can only be acquired through collaboration between players can be obtained using Mystical Scrolls, Crystals, or summoning scrolls with the added benefit of guaranteed summons once a certain number of miles have been accumulated.
New Content and Events
In addition to introducing new characters, this update includes unique questlines and dungeons reminiscent of the Evangelion series. Players have until August 10th to participate in various events and reap the rewards.
Ready for Battle! Stop the Angel Invasion!
During the “Get Ready for Battle! Prevent the Angel Onslaught in Chronicles!” game activity, players have the ability to employ Event Currency called Energy Coins, which they can use to ward off the Angels’ intrusion into their world.
In simpler terms, you can get Energy Coins while playing the game consistently. To improve your Monsters, players must defeat three kinds of Angel enemies.
Battle with the Pilots from the Rift!
Players are encouraged to participate in the “Clash with Pilots from The Rift” event by conquering dungeons with the Evangelion collaboration creatures. Perks of taking part include obtaining diverse scrolls and Artifact Seals as compensation. Summoners who bring forth these collaboration Monsters can further engage in the “Encountering Pilots from The Rift” event to collect extra rewards.
White Night Summon Event
Up until the 7th of August, the White Night Summon event grants players the chance to acquire the 5-star Light Nine-tailed Fox and Dark Occult Girl characters.
