ESO received expansion and major update with significant graphical upgrade

In the realm of gaming, The Elder Scrolls Online recently underwent a graphical upgrade on PC with the launch of the Fallen Banners dungeon pack and Update 45. Yesterday, players got a sneak peek at these new additions in the full game during beta testing sessions conducted by ZeniMax Online Studio in January. The console release is set for March 26th.

The game Fallen Banners presents two fresh dungeons for teams of four to delve into: Exiled Redoubt and Lep Seclusa. In the former, we’ll be probing into the disappearance of our soldiers and the enigmatic imperial fortress. Concurrently, within the latter dungeon, our task is to aid in the defense of a fortress under siege by an army comprising deserters and mercenaries, led by Orpheon the Strategist.

As a dedicated fan, nothing quite compares to the excitement stirred by Update 45 for Tamriel. This isn’t just about revitalizing locations in our beloved TESO; it’s a crucial step forward. A glance at the side-by-side comparisons of the game zones before and after the update makes this necessity glaringly clear.

The upgraded version of TES Online features numerous small yet popular adjustments: from boosting the initial speed of mounts, to redesigning one of the three constellations (Craft, essentially a crafting and sneaking skill tree), to user interface improvements that elevate gameplay comfort (including maps).

As a dedicated gamer diving headfirst into the world of The Elder Scrolls Online, I’m excited to share some promising news. Last year, our developers hinted at the arrival of new quests and combat enhancements in 2025 – something we all eagerly anticipate. And here’s a heads-up: starting with Update 45, console users like us will finally get to experience modification support! Can’t wait for these exciting changes!

The complete list of modifications has been detailed in a sequence of posts made by the developers on their official gaming platform’s discussion board.
