Boris Barbir, one of the founders at Pine Studio, shared a statement highlighting enhancements in the sequel’s technology, such as advanced physics and character movements. Contrary to the foreboding atmosphere suggested in the trailer, Barbir clarified that “Escape Simulator 2” is not a horror game; it won’t feature jump scares or graphic violence. Moreover, he assured fans that Pine Studio will maintain support for the original Escape Simulator and plan to roll out expansions for Escape Simulator 2 after its release.
