Everybody dreams of being included on Tom Cruise’s birthday cake wish list, but apparently, the cake isn’t always the same for each Mission: Impossible cast member.

Back in 2015, Kirsten Dunst – known for her role opposite Tom Cruise in “Interview with the Vampire” – shared that she receives an annual cake gift from the actor. More precisely, it’s a coconut bundt cake adorned with white chocolate.

Over the past ten years, an increasing number of individuals have shared stories about receiving one of these remarkable cakes. This includes actors from films like Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, producers, journalists, and many others who have crossed paths with him during his career.

Should you find yourself among those fortunate individuals on his list, chances are you’ll receive the delightful white chocolate coconut cake. However, there could also be two alternative treats in store.

Simon Pegg explains how Tom Cruise finds his cakes

During a chat with TopMob ahead of The Final Reckoning’s premiere, Pegg detailed where Tom Cruise obtains all the cakes he sends out annually, be it for Christmas, birthdays, or any special event requiring a sweet treat.

Well, here’s what I’d say as a gamer: “Alright, mates, when heading to the UK, you gotta hit up the Magnolia Bakery in Primrose Hill. That place is the bomb for sweet treats!” (Pegg said that it’s the best bakery he knows of.)

It’s worth noting that you won’t find a Magnolia Bakery in Primrose Hill. This bakery originates from the United States, and despite a brief stint of their famous banana pudding being sold in London, they haven’t opened any branches within the UK yet.

Is it possible that he misspoke and was referring to the Primrose Bakery or one of the neighboring establishments instead? Alternatively, could he have intentionally given false information (although it’s more likely he made a mistake, but the IMF team is known for keeping secrets).

Although I adore sugar, I can’t indulge in it while I’m preparing for my film roles because I’m always in training.
