In the coming days, the universe of Prime Video will grow with the arrival of the spinoff titled “Neagley“. The lead role in this spinoff will be played by someone, but don’t forget that there will also be a cameo from Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, much to the delight of fans.

Ever since October 2024 when Prime Video gave the green light for the Reacher spinoff, fans have been speculating whether Ritchson would make a guest appearance as Jack Reacher. Although no casting has been formally announced, it’s now confirmed that Ritchson will be seen in Neagley. Interestingly, this cameo was accidentally revealed by none other than the MLB’s official account, when they shared photos of Ritchson and Sten together at a real Cubs game where they were filming a scene. At present, it’s unclear whether Ritchson’s appearance in Neagley will go beyond this particular scene.

As a film enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly following the buzz around the set photos of Neagley that have gone viral lately. However, when it comes to the spinoff, Joe Ritchson has chosen to keep his cards close to his chest. In his latest post, he didn’t even hint at the MLB photos, instead focusing on his visit to the Neagley set to catch up with my dear friend Maria Sten, who is truly shining in her role. He also subtly hinted at some exciting developments in store for us in the fourth season of Reacher, a show that shares a significant portion of its crew with ours. The anticipation is real!

Alan Ritchson Teases Reacher Season 4

In a social media post, Ritchson hinted that Season 4 could be the most physically demanding one so far, saying his body is prepared. He added, “Could it be the best season yet?” Ritchson was given the role of Reacher by Prime Video before the release of Season 3 of the action drama series.

In a previous statement, Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed his excitement as the Reacher series exceeds all anticipations among our worldwide audience. He is eagerly awaiting another season filled with thrilling action and exciting adventures from the exceptionally skilled team behind the show, including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios.

It remains undisclosed which novel from Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series will serve as the foundation for the upcoming season. The first season was based on the debut novel, “Killing Floor,” while the second leaped ahead to the eleventh book, “Bad Luck and Trouble.” The latest season centered around the popular novel, “Persuader,” which is the seventh book in Child’s series. As for the spinoff titled “Neagley,”, it differs because it isn’t derived from any previously published material, a fact that may not come as a surprise to fans of the Jack Reacher novels, considering that Child has yet to pen any standalone stories featuring this character.

You can currently stream the initial three seasons of “Reacher” on Amazon Prime Video. As of now, we don’t have a specific timeframe for when “Neagley” will be released.
