Randy Pitchford frequently shares a lot of details about Borderlands 4 on social media platforms, covering aspects like gameplay, pricing, aesthetics, and other intriguing tidbits. His openness contributes significantly to the excitement surrounding its upcoming launch.

Borderlands 4 CEO reveals entire map and collectables

In his blog post about X, Randy Pitchford provided further insights into the game’s expansive setting, revealing that they’ve created a vast world but still have to populate it. He confirmed the inclusion of features like double-jumping, grappling, dashing, and gliding, and later delved into the potential addition of Marcus Bobbleheads.

These symbols will serve as markers to depict players discovering secluded or sparsely populated areas, which the original developers hadn’t initially planned on developing.

In addition, each Marcus Bobblehead will come with their own tales; one will be tasked with guarding a work of art until its creator comes back.

Yet, the unexpected twist came when Pitchford unveiled the full map of the game, marking the positions of all 200 Marcus Bobbleheads, leaving fans stunned.

Apart from unveiling the entire Borderlands 4 game world, he’s also shared a comprehensive collector’s map, which reveals all key locations, well ahead of its release by two months. Consequently, every player will have immediate access to these spots once they dive into their gaming adventure.

While some critics questioned Pitchford for revealing the locations: “Really now, why would you do that?”, the CEO responded by saying: “I can guide you towards the haystack. It’s up to you to find the needle hidden within it.” This implies that although we have a general idea where they are, no exact locations are being disclosed.

Completing this would undoubtedly be a joy for collectors, as it offers a substantial universe ripe for exploration.
