As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be attending the world premiere of “The Dead of Winter,” a gripping Brian Kirk-directed thriller, in the prestigious Locarno Film Festival. In this film, I take on the role of a resilient widowed fisherwoman, navigating a treacherous Minnesota blizzard when I unexpectedly thwart a kidnapping attempt of a local teenager. Produced by Stampede Ventures and augenschein, and executive-produced by yours truly, this riveting tale will debut on the 8th of August in Locarno’s Piazza Grande, an extraordinary 8,000-seat venue. On that very evening, I’ll also be receiving a well-deserved award, making it a night to remember in the heart of Locarno.
