Emily Deschanel has found her perfect replacement for Bones.
Emily Deschanel is joining the cast of a new crime drama for NBC, which is currently being developed. While she’s widely recognized for playing the lead role in Bones, Deschanel has a long history of appearing in both network television and streaming series, including several other crime shows. Most recently, she played psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis in the Netflix series Devil in Ohio.
Zooey Deschanel is set to star in a new crime drama pilot, according to Variety. Created by Dean Georgaris and John Fox, the show centers around Professor Georgia Ryan, a psychologist who uniquely focuses on the victims of crimes, rather than the perpetrators. She’ll be working alongside a team of FBI agents to crack difficult cases.
