The enchanting, celebrity-filled animated movie titled “The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland” has announced its streaming premiere date, which is available now in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
The movie with music, starring Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Gerard Butler (“Greenland”), and Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”), tells a story that blends elements from Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas”. The book version of this tale, beautifully illustrated by Kate Hindley, is a bestseller published by Macmillan.
In 2023, Peter Baynton, a director who won both an Oscar for Best Animated Short and a BAFTA, takes the helm of the feature film adaptation of “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.” This creative work is penned entirely in rhyming couplets by Sara Daddy. The film also boasts original music and songs, courtesy of Guy Chambers, a frequent collaborator with Robbie Williams, as well as Amy Wadge, a multiple Grammy winner.
The movie, co-produced by Universal Pictures Content Group and Lupus Films, will premiere in the United States simultaneously on Prime Video and Hulu starting November 15th. In the U.K., it will be released on Sky Cinema on December 13th. Notably, Sky Original Film is a significant backer, producer, and distributor of this film within the U.K. feature market.
