Elden Ring Nightreign’s Harder Boss Fights Are Leaking, And Players Aren’t Ready

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express my exhilaration over Elden Ring: Nightreign, the remarkable multiplayer spin-off from FromSoftware that has captivated more than 3.5 million gamers in mere five days since its launch, earning us the title of Nightfarers. However, no game is without flaws, and FromSoftware is proactively addressing two significant concerns surrounding Nightreign – the introduction of a Duos mode and extending the game’s lifespan through tougher iterations of its boss battles. Though these updates are still in the pipeline, sneak peeks at enhanced versions of some formidable boss fights have already surfaced online, leaving us Nightfarers bracing ourselves for more intense challenges ahead.

In a surprising move, Orange, an intelligent YouTube content creator, swiftly shared some unique previews following the announcement of the upcoming upgraded boss battles update. In his video, Orange highlights mods that reintroduce the overlooked third phases for Nightlord bosses in the game. These unused third phases for the bosses Fulghor, Champion of Nightglow, and Adel, Baron of Night, are rumored to be the additional content FromSoft is planning to reinstate as part of the enhanced boss update.

Despite making it appear effortless, Orange’s battles against the Nightlords, particularly Fulghor, reveal the addition of daunting new moves in the upcoming boss phases. These fresh tactics will undoubtedly challenge Elden Ring Nightreign players when the updated boss fight becomes active.

Apart from initiating at approximately 60% health, these latest phases are also set to commence right from the beginning for the bosses in their more challenging “final phase.” This is a modification from the current live game where the bosses only reach this tougher phase towards the end of the fight.

Orange shares useful information about these challenging boss battles in their video descriptions, including timestamps for Fulghor’s fight to help you pinpoint when the third phase begins. In Adel’s battle, they mention an intriguing tactic: “I discovered a unique strategy during the fight itself where you can leap using your spirit ability into the tornado that Adel summons.

The introduction of duos and improved boss battles will occur separately. Regrettably, there’s no specific schedule for the duos feature yet. However, it’s been announced that the updated boss fight will be integrated into the game towards the end of this month.
