Get good by starting good with these Elden Ring Nightreign best class picks for beginners.
FromSoftware’s latest Elden Ring title has both veteran and new players dazed and confused.
With this conveniently organized list of beginner-friendly classes, you’ll find yourself enjoying the experience much more.
Nightreign The Best Class for Starters
Despite being renowned for challenging role-playing games that require skill, FromSoftware is not particularly good at providing clear guidance or tutorials early on. In other words, similar to traditional RPGs, you could potentially make things difficult for yourself by making poor choices at the beginning of the game.
Instead, let me rephrase it for you: Not necessarily poor decisions, but rather imprudent risks taken without adequate knowledge or understanding, much like those players who believed the pendant in Dark Souls 1 had some hidden function!
However, there isn’t a single best class that reigns supreme in this game, as neither the Nightreign Best Class nor the Nightfarer has been definitively established. Instead, certain classes are tailored for newcomers, while others are designed for hardcore enthusiasts.
Also, some are definitely more newcomer-friendly or just outright better than others.
For a beginner in the Nightreign Best Class, I’d recommend either Ironeye or Raider. In my opinion, Raider is the ideal choice for new players due to its simplicity. As a tank, your role is straightforward – you just need to attack enemies.

Simply engage your stance, swipe your weapon, and deliver a powerful blow. Don’t fret excessively about taking damage since you have abundant health and defense. While it’s not invincible, it should withstand several attacks from most opponents.
However, using a tool that confines enemies like bosses and mobs within a pillar is incredibly useful. It offers not only damage but also grants your team valuable moments to recuperate and recover health, which can be vital during critical situations.
If you’re aiming for durability without taking any damage, Ironeye is the optimal choice among Nightreign classes. He excels at ranged attacks and can dodge incoming hits effortlessly. However, in one-on-one combat, he may not last long; in a team setup, you’ll be the primary source of damage (DPS).
As a player, I’d constantly fire off shots swiftly and dart around the battlefield, and sure enough, I’d reap the rewards. What truly sets this game apart though, is the skill to resurrect distant teammates using nothing but a well-aimed arrow from my trusty bow.
Get Good or Get Not So Good
Although Raider and Ironeue are the Nightreign Best Class for beginners, the others are viable.
To put it another way, Duchess might not be the best choice for beginners due to her challenging playstyle and intricate move set. She’s more suitable for those who have some experience under their belt.
In the initial phase, either Wylder or Guardian are more enduring choices. Guardian boasts the highest health among them, while Wylder has a simpler gameplay style. Wylder specializes in disrupting bosses, whereas Guardian, as its name suggests, protects the group.

As far as the most entertaining class in Nightreign goes, I’d recommend the Executor or Recluse, along with the Revenant.
This way, we maintain the meaning while making it easier for readers to understand the context.
With practice, it turns out that dodging assaults using Executor isn’t as challenging as it initially seems. In fact, you end up serving as an unofficial tank, dishing out substantial damage without giving it much thought. And let me tell you, activating beast mode during a boss fight is nothing short of amusing!
Recluse is the preferred choice for learning magic, and despite using a fair amount of FP (Focus Points), she’s easy to grasp. To master her magic, focus on learning her combo sequences, concoctions, and then repeat as needed. Yes, she may fall in battle swiftly, but that’s the fate of a mage, so it’s best to keep your distance!
However, Revenant isn’t identical to Nightreign. Ideal for beginners, but for long-term play, she offers value. Exceptionally suitable as an all-round team supporter due to her buffs and healing abilities. You merely need to manage with feeble attacks in the early game until you acquire new spells to utilize.
