Starting from March onwards, it’s been an exhilarating journey for the 24 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports squads participating in ESL Pro League Season 21. After navigating through the Play-In Stage and a challenging Group Stage, these 24 teams have been reduced to only eight.
From March 13th to 16th, 2025, the remaining eight teams will face off at the ESL Studio location in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m absolutely thrilled for this event! It’s especially exciting considering that some upsets happened during the Group Stage – unfortunately, Team Falcons and their outstanding player, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, won’t be moving on to the Playoffs.
In the Playoff Round, the last eight teams will face off in a tournament format where each loss eliminates a team. The Quarterfinals and Semifinals are best-of-three series, while the Grand Final is a five-game marathon. You can find the complete bracket for the Playoff Stage below, including the initial matchups, to ensure you don’t miss any of the exciting action.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve got to admit that MOUZ has been ruling the roost lately, taking home the ESL Pro League Season 19 and 20 titles, along with the PGL Cluj-Napoca victory. They’re definitely the team everyone’s talking about right now. But let’s not forget about Team Spirit and Team Vitality. These guys are on fire, tearing through the Group Stage undefeated at 3-0 each. It promises to be a thrilling competition!
Among the eight teams left, any one of them could potentially claim victory, making this an exhilarating spectacle to behold.
