EA Sports has made an agreement with Major League Soccer to broadcast real-time soccer matches on their mobile game, EA Sports FC Mobile. Specifically, four games from the 2025 MLS regular season will be transmitted through the game’s FCM TV feature. Remarkably, this live stream will also be simulcast on Apple TV, where MLS games are typically aired as well.
The first match is scheduled for Saturday, May 10th, featuring a clash between LA Galaxy and New York Red Bulls, kicking off at 4:30 PM Pacific Time or 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Additional games are planned for May 17th (Atlanta United FC versus Philadelphia Union) and two more in September; the opponents for these latter matches will be announced at a later date.
For every instance, users of EA Sports FC Mobile can venture to the In-app Football Hub to participate in their own matchups. By tuning into an MLS game within the application, viewers will earn in-game money and receive a complimentary one-month trial for the MLS Season Pass.
According to MLS executive Camilo Durana, partnering with EA emphasizes the league’s dedication to exploring new frontiers.
2023 saw the commencement of Apple’s initial 10-year sports broadcasting contract with MLS, however, audience figures have fallen somewhat short of expectations.

The next edition in the console series is scheduled for release in September. At present, EA aims to generate additional income from the game by offering its first-ever paid season pass for purchase.
