The film titled “Twinless” has been officially sold to Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate. This quirky, dark comedy, initially showcased at the Sundance Film Festival, is set to hit cinemas on September 5.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t wait to catch “Twinless,” starring Dylan O’Brien and James Sweeney. This film tells the story of two friends who meet in a support group for people who have lost their twins, and an unexpected friendship blossoms between them. At Sundance, “Twinless” was awarded the audience’s favorite, and O’Brien received recognition for his exceptional performance, playing twin brothers on screen.

Sweeney was responsible for both writing, directing, and producing the film, featuring stars like Aisling Franciosi, Lauren Graham, Tasha Smith, Chris Perfetti, François Arnaud, Susan Park, and Cree Cicchino.

D’Arbeloff and Cohen expressed their belief that this film will resonate powerfully with audiences across the country, just as it did at Sundance.

David Permut, the producer, comments, “This sharp comedy presents complex characters in an amusingly raw, emotionally intense, and hilarious manner. The agreement was worked out, with Charlotte Koh representing Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions, while Sejin Croninger spoke for Republic Pictures.
