Dying Light: The Beast Is Standalone Game. Will Provide About 20 Hours of Gameplay

As a seasoned survivor of the post-apocalyptic world, having braved countless nights in the original Dying Light and navigated the treacherous streets of Harran, I can hardly contain my excitement for Techland’s latest announcement – Dying Light: The Beast!

At Gamescom 2024’s Opening Night Live, one truly exhilarating moment for me was discovering the upcoming game titled “Dying Light: The Beast“.

  1. The biggest surprise is that it will not be a DLC to Dying Light 2, but a standalone production.
  2. Dying Light: The Beast is supposed to provide about 20 hours of gameplay.
  3. The main character of the game will be Kyle Crane, known from the first game. He will be equipped with superhuman powers, which should greatly diversify the fun.
  4. The action will be set in a new location called Castor Woods.

Initially conceived as a DLC for Dying Light 2, the game titled Dying Light: The Beast was later transformed into a standalone project by its developers. Notably, those who bought the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2 will receive Dying Light: The Beast at no additional cost.

The game will be available on PC, Xbox One Series S/X, and PlayStation 5, but the exact launch date hasn’t been disclosed yet.
