Dropout Orders Culinary Competition ‘Gastronauts’ With Brennan Lee Mulligan, Sam Reich and More as Judges

As an avid fan of culinary competitions and offbeat humor, I am thrilled to learn about Dropout’s new series “Gastronauts.” The lineup of judges, including Sam Reich, Brennan Lee Mulligan, and a host of talented comedians, promises a unique blend of entertainment and gastronomic prowess.

The streaming platform “Dropout” is set to launch a cooking competition show titled “Gastronauts.” This series will see its regular talents serving as judges, among them are CEO Sam Reich, who also hosts “Game Changer,” and Brennan Lee Mulligan, the game master for “Dimension 20.”

In the latest show, Jordan Myrick is accompanied by three comedians in each episode. They set outlandish culinary tasks for the chefs appearing in each episode, who are previous contestants and champions from cooking competitions such as “Chopped”, “The Next Food Network Star” and “Hell’s Kitchen”. These challenges are specifically designed to be preposterous.

Joining Reich, Mulligan, and other comedy judges are regular Dropout talents like Vic Michaelis, as well as Jacob Wysocki, Oscar Montoya, rising TikTok sensation Kendahl Landreth, and several more.

The chefs participating in the first season of “Gastronauts” are: Angel Ortega Gonzalez (from “Chopped”), Arturo Avallone (also from “Chopped” and “It’s Compliplated”), Cici Celia (also from “Chopped”), Dominique Crisp (“Save The Leftovers”), Harrison Bader (“The Next Food Network Star”, “Supermarket Stakeout”), Jessica Tiffany Luevano, Jeromy Wright (from both “Chopped” and “Supermarket Stakeout”), Joshua Mouzakes (known for “Beachside Brawl”, “Alex vs. America”, and “Chopped”), Kat Turner (“Chopped”), Kenneth Anderson (“Supermarket Stakeout”), Kyndra McCrary (“Chopped”), Lauren Lawless (a contestant in “Supermarket Stakeout”, “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Masterchef”, and “Chopped”), Mark Esposito (“The Great Food Truck Race”), Patrick Costa (“Chopped”), Pratik Bhakta, Samantha Quintero (“Chopped”), and Trevor Ross (“Supermarket Stakeout”).

The freshly launched show is set to debut on October 11th, streaming on Dropout – an independent platform that was previously known as CollegeHumor and is now owned by the same company. New episodes will be made available every alternate Friday.
