#DRIVE Rally release date confirmed, coming sooner than you’d think

As a long-time fan of Pixel Perfect Dude and their exceptional work in the gaming industry, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of #DRIVE Rally! Having grown up in the 80’s and early 90’s, the nostalgic vibe that this game promises has me all fired up. With its focus on driving, mud, and witty co-driver critiques, it’s like a love letter to my teenage years spent playing arcade games in my local arcade.

The anticipated sequel to the popular mobile game #DRIVE, titled #DRIVE Rally, created by Pixel Perfect Dude, has finally revealed its launch date. Surprise! It’s arriving sooner than expected.

At long last, we’ve learned that the much-anticipated #DRIVE Rally will be making its debut on the 25th of September. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant pop culture scene of the late 80s and early 90s, this racing game is all about the thrill of driving through muddy terrains, and you’ll receive constructive feedback, albeit perhaps grudgingly, from your cost-conscious co-driver.

For the second time since they started, the creators of the game are planning to launch their product on platforms other than mobile and Switch (with the exception of the VR version of their mobile game Ski Jump). However, #DRIVE Rally will not be available on these platforms. Instead, it’s set to appear on Steam (including the Steam Deck), GOG, the Epic Games Store, as well as MacOS and Linux systems (via Steam only). This is terrific news for all those who love gaming deeply!

As a gamer, I can tell you that this upcoming game isn’t your typical rally racing arcade title. It has an enchanting vibe reminiscent of Pacific Drive, rather than the raw, gritty realism found in EA’s WRC. At launch, you’ll have a wealth of content to explore, including up to 24 tracks per setting across four diverse environments, 12 distinct vehicles with numerous options, not one, but four Championships to conquer, and four fully-voiced co-drivers ready to cheer (or scold) you on your less-than-perfect performance.

“#DRIVE Rally is gearing up for Early Access, promising further enhancements after its release, including additional vehicles, circuits, co-drivers, custom livery options, and new competitions. However, keep in mind that the team is quite small with only five members, so it’s hard to predict exactly when new content will be rolled out post-launch.”
