Following speculation among online users that Drake may have faked his ‘feminine’ toss toward an airborne drone, FaZe Lacy playfully teased the rapper by reenacting the widely-shared video clip.
Meanwhile, as Drake, the rapper from NWTS, resided in his luxurious penthouse atop a building in Sydney, Australia, a drone maintained its position over his terrace.
Approaching the drone, Drake grabbed a vibrant orange sandal from behind his door and tossed it towards the hovering camera gadget in the air.
The incident’s video quickly spread like wildfire online, causing a buzz as people teased Drake about his inaccurate shoe-throwing, as the shoe failed to hit the mark when aimed at the drone.

Users on X have already started using memes to dunk on his throwing skills (or lack thereof).
Some spectators proposed the idea that Drake may have orchestrated the event himself, as the mistake appeared too humiliating to be genuine. Furthermore, they suggested that his supposed surprise seemed unnatural.
FaZe Lacy recreates viral Drake video
In response to all the criticism, FaZe Lacy chose to join the fun and mimic the rapper’s video. In the video, Lacy arranged his laptop on an outdoor table just like Drake did. FaZe Clan member Lacy feigned surprise when he accidentally missed a drone with his sandal as if it were unexpected.
Lacy remade the widely-shared Drake video featuring a drone ascending to his high-rise apartment, showing him engaged in gaming on his computer, with tears emoji.

“How’d he manage to make it more zesty?” asked a viewer.
“Lacy on another level of glazing at this point,” wrote another.
Beyond teasing Drake about the apparent falsehood in a fan-perceived drone video, the rapper has also faced increased criticism due to his ongoing dispute with Kendrick Lamar.
The feud among the rappers has turned into a notable event, as various famous personalities and opinion leaders have voiced their thoughts about it publicly.
