Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition originally launched as an improved version of the game on PlayStation 4 and PC, and then came to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. Now, it’s coming to the new Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24th. Check out the announcement trailers below.
The next version of the Switch will let you choose between better graphics (at 1440p resolution and 30 frames per second) or smoother performance (1080p at 60 frames per second). In Japan, the game will be sold as a physical ‘Game-Key Card,’ as demonstrated in the recent presentation.

Good news for fans: the Japanese FAQ clarifies that you won’t be able to transfer save data, and the game’s content is identical to previous releases of Dragon Quest XI S.
