Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has been a tremendous success so far, even in its pre-release stage. While most players are generally satisfied with the game, there’s one aspect of the online play that the community finds less than ideal.
In ranked play, certain players are encountering an issue where they’re being flagged for reports even though their gameplay is within the rules.
In a Reddit discussion, a user posted a screenshot showing they were informed about “unacceptable actions” during an online match, which were categorized as “Misconduct/Bullying.
The user explained that they weren’t impolite at all, instead they usually came out on top in their matches. They mentioned that they frequently request rematches but are often turned down. To add, they stated that they primarily use standard characters such as Goku and Vegeta.
At times, I may get worked up, but it’s utterly absurd to be this heated over a video game. The Dragon Ball community, however, seems to be particularly notorious for its toxicity.
Afterward, numerous gamers found themselves puzzled about how it could occur since the game lacks voice communication. Moreover, this problem seems persistent, as others have swarmed the comments stating that they’ve encountered the same situation.
One user claimed they suddenly got a warning yesterday and had no clue what they did wrong. They assumed some folks “weren’t too happy” that they were winning with how they played. “When I lose, I’m not even upset about it and move on to the next battle. This is ridiculous.”
At the same time, another player commented: “This happened to me. If my Trunks had been struck one more time, he would have perished. But I managed to revive him and defeat two of his remaining opponents using a powerful attack known as DP. However, the game flagged it as ‘Other’.
Some players believed it was probably due to their use of emotes with harmful intentions. Regardless, many players are already pleading for a resolution to the issue of “misreporting” being incorrectly used.
