Dr Disrespect reveals what he wants on Rumble & X as he awaits YouTube monetization

As a gamer who has followed Dr Disrespect‘s career closely, I can’t help but admire his resilience and determination. His ban from Twitch was a significant blow, but he refuses to let it define him. His recent statements about wanting “real companies with real values” in the streaming space resonate deeply with me.

Dr Disrespect is keeping his fingers crossed that YouTube reactivates his channel’s monetization, but he also shared his hopes for what might occur on Rumble and X during this waiting period.

In the year 2020, live-streaming personality Guy Beahm (also known as Dr Disrespect) was temporarily suspended from Twitch due to allegations of sending inappropriate communications to a minor.

Following June’s disclosure about the ban by ex-Twitch employees, Beahm temporarily stopped streaming on YouTube. Upon returning after a few months, he discovered that his account had been demoted from monetization.

Doc contended that the Twitch team harbored a grudge against him and selectively used misleading quotes from his conversations as grounds for his permanent ban. Later, he attributed the platform’s actions to what he referred to as the “woke mind virus,” a term often employed by Elon Musk, the CEO of X.

On November 7th, Beahm reacted to a tweet by Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble, following the platform’s record-breaking election coverage the previous day. The platform experienced an influx of viewers due to speculation about Donald Trump potentially running for president again in 2024, reaching a peak of over 1.79 million viewers on the site.

Pavlovski wondered aloud if brand advertisers might decide to invest again in platforms such as Rumble and X, after previously pulling their ads?

Dr Disrespect concurred largely with the sentiments expressed by the Rumble boss, yet he also included a specific condition or qualifier of his own.

Doc insists on viewing genuine businesses with authentic values in these sectors. He’s tired of corporations easily swayed by a loud few who aren’t genuinely invested in the company’s offerings from the start.

I’m looking for genuine businesses, with authentic values, operating within these sectors. Businesses that stand firm against the loud few, who may not genuinely appreciate the product or service to start with.

Significantly, Dr Disrespect faced the loss of various business agreements and ventures after his Twitch ban controversy, such as his very own gaming studio, Midnight Society.

As a dedicated fan, I find myself excitedly speculating that Beahm might consider streaming on alternative platforms should YouTube fail to approve his monetization application.

He mentioned in October that there could be something quite significant at hand, perhaps one of the greatest chances yet for the two-time [recipient].

Specifically, it seems like Doc may have his focus on Rumble and X, but it’s important to note that this isn’t set in stone as of now. However, there are hints that suggest something might be going on.

More recently, Dr Disrespect unveiled his personal collection of “Let’s Make Gaming Awesome” merchandise, catching the attention of Pavlovski. This revelation followed closely on the heels of Elon Musk’s post stating, “Revive the Glory of Games!

It remains to be seen how things unfold with Dr Disrespect, but without any monetary earnings from streaming, he was still able to garner a substantial $20,000 through viewer donations in the previous month.
