As a long-time follower and fan of the streaming world, I must say that the dynamic between Dr Disrespect (Doc) and Ninja is as intriguing off-screen as it is entertaining on-screen. It’s like watching a real-life drama unfold in slow motion.
After launching a fresh game, Dr Disrespect erupted into a frenzied fit of laughter upon discovering a Ninja character skin immediately.
In June, the majority of the streaming community stepped away from Dr Disrespect (whose real name is Guy Beahm) following revelations by ex-Twitch employees about why he was suspended from the platform in 2020.
Based on reports from former Twitch employees, it is alleged that user “Doc” (later known as Beahm) privately messaged a minor using the platform’s Whisper function. This behavior was reportedly acknowledged by Beahm himself in a since-deleted tweet.
Despite Doc publicly accusing Twitch of masterminding a ban during a subsequent stream on YouTube and disclosing further information regarding the incident, his most intimate streaming companions like TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS decided to distance themselves from him.
On the 8th of October, Doc started playing a fresh battle royale game titled ‘Off The Grid.’ Upon setting up his character and readying himself for action, he was momentarily stunned when a notification about a Ninja skin sale appeared on his screen.
“Oh God,” Dr Disrespect moaned and sighed at the content pack before breaking out into laughter.

Prior to the disclosure of the cause behind his Twitch suspension, Beahm and Ninja had maintained a relatively cordial relationship. In fact, the Fortnite sensation went as far as sending a case of his Nutcase beverage to his counterpart.
Upon learning that Doc had been let go by his gaming studio, Midnight Society, Ninja decided to terminate their friendship due to ethical concerns. “Any activity involving minors, regardless of the context, is unacceptable,” he stated emphatically. “It’s morally wrong and it’s illegal.
Excited about my upcoming solo adventure in #OffTheGrid, the latest game from Neill Blomkamp and Gunzilla Games. It’s set to debut on Early Access at 1 CT. Join me, along with TimTheTatman and Scump, as we play live, and you could win a PS5 Pro! Check it out at @playoffthegrid.

It’s evident that the friendship between the two individuals is no longer warm – and it’s not just Ninja who seems to have a disagreement with Doc; other creators share similar sentiments too.
In October, Beahm publicly accused a former friend of betrayal after their falling out, claiming this happened following the ban. Prior to that, he had mentored and introduced them to influential people in the industry.
Contrary to the ongoing debates, it’s worth noting that one individual was open to streaming alongside Doc. On October 7th, Viss made history as the first streamer to team up with Dr Disrespect in the aftermath of the Twitch ban controversy.
