A Mother’s Day delivery from DoorDash became a viral sensation when the driver unintentionally let go of a bouquet of balloons right after reaching the customer’s home.
A Reddit user named ‘radbrad777’ shared the story on the r/mildlyinfuriating subreddit, and it quickly became very popular, receiving tens of thousands of upvotes and over 1,700 comments.
The customer said they ordered balloons for a birthday and Mother’s Day with their DoorDash food order, but there were problems as soon as the delivery driver arrived.
A doorbell camera recorded the delivery driver taking a photo of the package with the attached balloons. Almost immediately after, the balloons came loose and floated away.

The video went even more viral when the customer posted the delivery photo the DoorDash driver had uploaded, revealing what the delivery actually looked like.
The picture seemed to capture the balloons drifting away over the house as the delivery photo was being taken.
One Reddit user noticed that near the end, it seemed like the person was seriously considering taking a picture of whatever was flying away.
After the customer shared the delivery photo, they added: “Holy sh*t he actually did it haha.”
Another commenter responded: “NO F*CKING WAY.”
