The long-awaited anime by Shinichiro Watanabe has officially premiered. Given its status as one of the most eagerly anticipated series in the Spring 2025 lineup, it’s no wonder there’s been a surge of interest in
One question that often arises when it comes to anime is which language version to choose, whether it’s subtitled or dubbed. Generally, the original Japanese version is the one most people opt for. However, I must clarify that while a Japanese dub for Lazarus exists, it’s currently not accessible in many regions, including the United States. Therefore, viewers who watch Lazarus on Adult Swim or Max are only able to access the English-language version at this time.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that I’ve learned Lazarus, known as something else in Japanese, is set to premiere on Adult Swim and Max about a month after its initial release. That means we’ll have to be patient for a bit, which isn’t common for anime fans since we usually get the Japanese version first, followed by English and other language dubs later. But this time, it seems like most of us worldwide will be watching the English version first!
You have two options to watch the anime: right away in English (or in your own language, as many countries offer dubbed versions) or wait for 30 days for the Japanese original. Comparing trailers released before the premiere can help you decide which version suits your taste better. Since you enjoy watching “Lazarus”, you might as well watch both versions!
